Weiner Schnitzel

This is a traditional Austrian dish consisting of a breaded and pan-fried pork cutlet. It is usually served with a variety of sides, including vegetables and potatoes, as well as a rich gravy.

The Gasthaus Restaurant in Peachland is known for its delicious Weiner Schnitzel, which is made with tender pork cutlets that are coated in a crispy breadcrumb mixture before being pan-fried to perfection. The dish is typically served with baby potatoes and a variety of vegetables, such as red pepper, carrots, and broccoli.

To make the gravy, the restaurant likely uses a combination of flour, butter, and stock or broth. The flour and butter are first cooked together to form a roux, which is then whisked together with the stock or broth to create a smooth and flavorful sauce.

Overall, the Weiner Schnitzel with vegetables, baby potatoes, and gravy from The Gasthaus Restaurant in Peachland is a delicious and satisfying meal that is sure to please any meat lover. I thought it was delicious. To me, the standard of any chef can usually be pre-defined simply by the taste of their vegetables. Their baby potatoes were wonderfully soft and the carrots actually tasted like fresh carrots! The port cutlet was cooked to perfection. I stongly advised anyone who loves port to give this a try. I accompanied my Weiner Shnitzel with a cold pint of larger...Heavenly.

Delicious...*****
